Eliana studied contemporary dance and cultural studies in Cologne, Hildesheim, Porto and Berlin. Her research currently deals with questions around societal power structures and their effect on physical practices. She is furthermore interested in exploring collective working structures and has been part of the collective AnaConda am Ufer, currently she is part of Berlin based poetry collective Das Ad Hoc. Together with Vanessa Engelmann, Eliana is working on new translations of the writings of Colette Peignot, which will be published by Matthes & Seitz Berlin. Eliana is a member of the editorial board of literary magazine Berlin Review.
