Eternal Terra Ear (ÉTÈ)—or in Chinese, 永恆地耳—is an experimental platform designed for innovation enterprises, future citizens, and creative practitioners. Functioning as a "Policy Initiative," ÉTÈ explores how social-technical infrastructures can be collectively imagined and constructed through innovative, participatory governance practices.
The project’s architecture is built upon the "Trust Layer," a systemic protocol that integrates planetary-scale data with community-led verification. By utilizing Copernicus satellite remote sensing and drone photogrammetry, ÉTÈ captures "invisible" environmental signals and secures them via decentralized ledgers to create immutable "Digital Twins" of industrial and ecological sites.
Key Initiatives within ÉTÈ include:
- The International Sky Hub: A transnational network linking China, Europe, Africa, and Latin America through ecological intelligent infrastructure and satellite-verified supply chains.
- The Visceral Sonic Oyster (内脏声学牡蛎): An ecological intelligent device that uses bio-synaesthesia—spatialized acoustics and haptic feedback—to translate environmental vibrations into sensory experiences.
- Inclusive Governance & Entrepreneurship: A dedicated focus on women’s entrepreneurship and local, root-based enterprises to ensure global data systems are built on equity and inclusive policy-making.
ÉTÈ operates as an "Open Framework" for addressing complex global challenges, ranging from the climate crisis to underground economies and collective mourning (gham). Through a 2026 circuit of prestigious residencies—including CultTech Lab (Vienna), School of Commons (Zurich), and the CODE Program (Brussels/Utrecht)—ÉTÈ continues to pioneer "Systems Art" as a legitimate tool for international policy and sovereign cooperation.
