Liliana is a post-doctoral researcher with an interdisciplinary background in ecology, atmospheric science, and ecosystem management, which was developed thanks to an international education setting in Italy, Portugal, Denmark, and Switzerland. Liliana centers their work on the responses of forest ecosystems to climate change, with a focus on the carbon dioxide uptake and emissions under global warming while keeping a systemic approach that emphasises the interplay of multiple living organisms.
One of Liliana's favorite challenges is to convey complex scientific topics to a non-scientific audience through accurate research on visual communication.
